Supplier & Software Sales Manager Germany

We are looking for an enthusiastic Supplier & Software Sales Manager Germany. In this position you are responsible for contracting new venues and agents in the DACH area and for achieving the commercial objectives for this region. In addition, you are also responsible for selling the Meetingselect software to the venues and you help them with implementing it. You will manage the existing portfolio of contracts (basic agreements and marketing packages) and relationships with various suppliers for the DACH area. Together with the Director of Supplier Sales, you make the strategic plan for the department every year.

You are eager to learn, would like to be in contact with venues and you are looking for a nice team to work in.

What are you going to do?

  • Setting up and expanding strategic (international) partnerships with venues, travel- and traffic agencies and third parties
  • Selling Marketing packages, APIs and White Labels
  • Prepare, implement and achieve annual sales plans and targets
  • Achieve set goals and commercial objectives
  • Identify new opportunities and turn them into concrete successes
  • Visit the locations from the existing portfolio and new locations
  • Increase adoption of the online booking platform by providing web demos and presentations to partners at home and abroad
  • Participate in national and international trade fairs or family travel
  • Attend networking events

What do you bring? 
  • 1-6 years of experience in a (commercial) sales or similar position in the hospitality or travel industry
  • Bachelor or MBO diploma in a related field
  • Stress resistant, independent, teamplayer, proactive, accurate and result-oriented
  • Strong commercial insight and good negotiation skills
  • Professional, customer-oriented and flexible
  • Problem solving ability
  • Focused on business objectives
  • Good networker
  • Fluent in both German and English, spoken and written
