Logica and LeasePlan select Meetingselect
Logica and LeasePlan have selected Meetingselect as their preferred meeting agency! Via centralised meeting management, both Logica and LeasePlan will now gain insight in all the meeting cost and booking patterns within the company that will result in large cost and time savings. Sanoma Magazines works with Meetingselect for their meetings and group bookings. Personally, I like to make use of the online booking tool of Meetingselect. Very quickly, you can make a selection of hotels in the area in which you are searching. This is very useful, especially in cities you are not so familiar with yourself. Recently, I had to organize a meeting in Budapest. Through Meetingselect.com I will first start selecting hotels in Budapest that match my needs in terms of the number of hotel rooms and the capacity of the meeting rooms. Often, I will also contact my dedicated account manager at Meetingselect Reservation Service. She knows all my specific wishes and is familiar with the type of locations I need. I like to verify with her if I have selected the most suitable locations and if they have other suggestions for me. Depending on the type of meeting, I will go on site inspections to a selection of the hotels to get a clear view of these locations and to be able to compare them easily. There has to be a certain atmosphere, furthermore the meeting room needs to have natural daylight. Based on these criteria, I will make my final decision. To me, Meetingselect is a real solution for our company both for national and international meetings.

Hotel Okura Amsterdam presents four renovated meeting rooms
Artistic Japanese pottery decorate(s) one of the rooms
Hotel Okura Amsterdam has recently finished the renovation of five of its meeting rooms. The Meerman room and the Sperwer room have been transformed into boardrooms, and the Otter and Esperance rooms were also completely made over. All five of these rooms are situated on the hotel’s first floor and feature natural daylight. The Meerman Rooms are suitable for board meetings for up to 40 persons. Everything that is needed for a meeting is provided, including built-in beamers and screens.
The Otter/Esperance Room offers a view of the Amstel channel and the Japanese garden. This room is decorated with 18 pieces of Japanese Bizen pottery. Each one of these unglazed pieces is hand- made and a unique work of art. Pottery of this kind originated in the 12th century. Bizen ware is from the village of Bizen Yaki, near Kobe, in the Japanese prefecture of Okayama.

The room is not only suitable for meetings, but also perfect for festive gatherings such as dinners and weddings. Because Hotel Okura Amsterdam is an official wedding location, weddings can be held entirely at the hotel. Hotel Okura Amsterdam is constantly developing itself. Last summer the lobby was also renovated.
