Results Survey Virtual meetings versus business travel
The lectureship Business Travel Management at the NHTV has in cooperation with 2 international business travel lectureships (Haaga Helia University in Helsinki and University of Pretoria in South-Africa) been working on a research on virtual meetings versus business travel. Due to the collaboration between Meetingselect and NHTV Academy of Tourism Breda, Meetingselect was glad to cooperate on this research. We are happy to share the results of the research in this edition.

The GBTA Meetings Lab
Meetingselect was proud to sponsor the 3rd dimension edition of the GBTA Europe Conference!
The event took place in Noordwijk from 19 – 21 September. After a successful event, we are looking forward to the new event in Europe, called The Meetings Lab. This forum is being held at the Principal Hayley Château Saint-Just, just outside of Paris, France on 10th-11th November. The event allows delegates to experience unusual session formats while discussing issues of the day including remuneration, RFPs, measuring event success, effective policy and processes and the importance of meetings architecture. The organization also intends to measure energy levels throughout the event to measure delegate engagement. Registration is now open for this limited space event.
Christmas dinner & Sinterklaas at HEA
Besides a private dinner or cooking workshop, you can also celebrate Sinterklaas with all company kids.
Together with the Chef Piet they make pepernoten, puff pastry forms, and mandarin lollie pops. They also decorate a gigantic ship with marzipan and fire fountains as steam pipes.
When Sinterklaas comes in, the ship will be offered to him by the kids. All what’s cooked and created can be taken home.
Also very entertaining is the restaurant workshop; with guidance of a proffesional team, your collegues cook and serve your guests (other collegues or customers). This is the ultimate way to express your appeciation to the invited guests!

As manager of business of the NCA, the association for chiropractors in The Netherlands, I am often involved in searching suitable meeting venues for our board- and employee meetings.
