Resting by the picturesque Keizersgracht canal, this hotel offers an ideal base for exploring this charming, historical town. Famous for its distinctive cheese which shares the town's name, you can sample it for yourself from the market in Nieuwenhuizen Square. Other attractions include the 14th century Church of Saint Nicholas with ornate stained glass windows and carved woodwork from the period. The town is located by the lake Ijsselmeer, ideal for boating trips and water sports.
The hotel has a perfect location. Edam is very nice. We have done a walking city tour with a guide. The food was good. Price/quality is ok.
Its always perfect, very service oriented, helpful with everything we would ask. The sfeer was perfect & everybody loved the hotel.
The Hotel was great! The staff is super friendly & very helpful. The meeting rooms are very nice, the restaurant exceeds your expectations! We will come once again for sure.
The hotelrooms are designed with very beautiful furniture and nice colours. I had a meetingroom where there was a little bar where the lunch was served. The service was exellent and always ready to give assistance. Parking is free if you drive to the gracht called "Voorhaven", which is good to know if your stay is all evening or if you have a hotelroom arranged. We will certainly use this very stylish location again. Also the price was surprisingly economic.
